Disney World Day 7: Dinner at Chef Mickeys

The monorail comes right inside of the Contemporary resort. It's pretty cool. It comes through a big tunnel in the wall right next to this giant Mickey wreath.

We checked in but we were a couple of hours early so they put us on the list and then we just hung out. I gave the girls a snack...
Photobucket
we checked out the Gingerbread tree...
Photobucket
took a picture next to the tree...
Photobucket
and then we were called! We only ended up waiting about a half hour.
Photobucket
Here Goofy was going around having everyone wave their napkins around.
Photobucket
I'm not sure why our napkins look like ghost napkins... but it's kind of cool.

I didn't get pictures of all of our food but here is a picture of one of the buffet stations.
Photobucket
and here is Abi's dessert...

The food was really good.

The first character to come visit us was Donald Duck!

Next up was Pluto. We had seen him and got his autograph at Hollywood Studios but Abi was excited to see him again and this time I got better pictures!

Abi kept looking around for Daisy Duck. We thought she might be here but the waiter told us she was out shopping. Abi really wanted to meet her so I told her that I had heard she hangs out at Animal Kingdom. Will we find her there in a few days? Stay tuned to find out!
This was one of the few restaurants that takes a picture of you but doesn't give it to you for free. Here you have to buy it. I didn't plan on it but it was cute and my mom and I wanted it! Besides it came with some coloring pages and Chef Mickeys recipes!

We really had a great time at Chef Mickeys!

Up next: Day 2 at the Magic Kingdom

What fun and good food! I really liked my Salmon. I am wondering if the reason why some of the pictures are blurry is because the camera setting had slipped off "automatic"?? Anyway, still fun pictures! The ones of Maddy are precious with her adorable smile and twinkling eyes...and Abi is beautiful!
