Disney World: Day 3, part 6 - Princess photo shoot

We went straight from the castle over to the photo shoot.
The girls wanted to look around the store a little bit.

While we were waiting Maddy found this mirror and couldn't stop looking at herself. It was the funniest thing.

My goofy girls!

I like that this one catches her cute litel face delighted with herself but also the photopass photographer that would be doing their photo shoot.

She was awesome with the girls.
She was fun and funny and they were so comfortable with her!

First she took a few pictures of them together.

My favorite!

Then some of just Abi

I think this one is my favorite of Abi.

Then some Maddy...

My favorite...

My mom and dad had told Maddy she should pick out her birthday presents while we were at Disney World so she used some of her money in this store before we left.
She picked out a cute Winnie the Pooh toy.
Before we left Maddy traded pins with this Cast Member.
He was so cool dressed up in the kids' knight dress ups.
I had to ask to take a picture of him with her!

Disney World day 13: Breakfast in the Castle

Cinderella's Royal Table is by far one of the hardest reservations to get. You have to call 180 days out from your trip at exactly 7am to even think about being able to get the reservation. Luckily since we were doing the dining plan I was able to call 180 days out from our first day of the trip and make reservations for the entire trip during that one call. I asked if I could start with this day to ensure I would get it and they let me.
We got back into the castle and got in line to greet Cinderella. They have her down on the ground floor to take pictures with everyone as you arrive. Then you wait to be called to go upstairs for the breakfast. The picture comes in a nice folder with an enlargement of the castle and it is included in the price of the meal. We were going to get two pictures because of the size of our group.
While waiting in line, I saw these little guys up near the ceiling.
It was only a few minutes until we got to Cinderella. She was really sweet.

They took the first picture with just the girls...
Then they took one of just our little family and then one with all of us. They took this one with my camera.
Our family shot didn't turn out so we had to come back in later and do another one (but more on that later). Here are the finished pictures....
After our pictures we hung out on the lobby benches. Abi made a friend.
I made her pose a few times.

Finally they announced our family and we ascended the royal staircase to the banquet room.

I got the stuffed french toast which doesn't look that amazing but was so good.
Abi and Maddy got french toast sticks. Abi was also able to get some eggs, bacon, and fruit.
In the background you can see a big huge bowl in front of my mom. She thought when the waitress was giving us our choices that it was like some of the other restaurants we'd been to where you got each of the things and that she was asking what she wanted to start with rather than asking her which item she wanted... so she ordered the yogurt. It was the biggest bowl of yogurt ever.
Doug got your basic hearty breakfast.
Many of the princesses come to the meal just like the one we had in Norway. First to come by was Snow White...
Then Abi saw Aurora approaching. We had been here and met enough people by now that she was very warmed up to the characters and wanted to make the most out of meeting Aurora this time. She ran right to her and gave her the biggest hug...
Then she looked up at her and said, in a sweet and soft voice, "You're my favorite princess."
I took this right after she had said that...
Then Aurora leaned down and kissed her on the forehead leaving the brightest lip marks ever!

It was one of the sweetest things. I think the princesses try really hard to make these encounters really special for the children but they are kind of rushed through from table to table and most of the time only get a few moments for a signature and a picture and a few words. Every once in a while a princess really leaves you with a feeling that they really love doing this. It is magic.
Soon we saw Ariel approaching. Abi suddenly ducked under the table. I asked her what she was doing and she said she didn't want Ariel to see the lipstick on her forehead. I wiped it off and ensured her it was all gone.
They give each girl dining here a wand ( I think they give boys a sword) and the wishing stars (I had those pictured earlier). At this point in the breakfast they told the children to get their wishing stars and their wands and to wave their wands above their wishing stars.
They were told to make a wish....
It was a really fun moment.
Soon Belle came to visit us. We liked that this time she was in her blue dress.
Behind Belle in this picture you can see a little girl in a purple shirt. She was there with her mom and right before we left she asked us if we wanted some fast passes to Philharmagic. She didn't need two of them. I thought that was so nice of her. We decided that Doug and Abi would go to it while my parents and I went back to Castle Couture to get some things.
After breakfast, we met this cast member. He told us that the castle had a circular elevator... which is very rare and showed us that it was right there in that room so we could ride it down. Then he traded pins with Abi.
Here we are in the circle elevator.
Breakfast was great and now it was time for some more fun!

Next up: More rides and magic!
