Day two, part three: Hollywood Studios afternoon

When I left off, we had just been playing in the snow at Wandering Oaken's Trading post.
We really wanted to meet Phineas and Ferb so Doug and I decided to take the girls back over to meet them while my parents shopped.
We couldn't do both and make our next fast pass time.
As we waited in line we started to get worried that we were going to be late for our meet up with my parents.
Then a CM announced they would be taking a break in a few minutes. We got nervous.
But then he said, "After this family." and pointed to us.
Sweet! It was a lucky moment for us!
Soon it was our time to meet the boys.
They were funny and the girls were so excited to be meeting them!

We love this show and since meeting them Abi has been even more into it.

After our meet we RAN over to Toy Story Mania for our Fast pass. My parents were already there so we were able to get right into line.
It was a LONG line.
Even with FP there was a wait.
I felt bad for everyone trying to do this without a fast pass.
And I personally LOVE the new system for fast passes where you get to pick them 60 days in advance (if you are a resort guest) because it was so nice to have our 3 FP's all figured out before we got there and not have to run ahead to get them in the morning.

Eventually we were up to the gate ready to get on.
Doug rode with my dad.
Abi rode with my mom.
And I got to ride with Maddy.

There was a little bit of a learning curve with her but eventually she got it and loved playing.
My mom and Abi...

Doug and my dad...
I liked it when we were turned and could see the others in their cars.
Maddy... and then Doug and my dad.

Maddy and Abi and my mom in the background.

After our ride, we went back to the Lights!Motors! Action! Car stunt show.
My parents had got to this before but the rest of us had not.
I gave the girls a snack I had made that said do you want to build a snowman on it.
Inside were marshmallows, pretzel sticks, and orange jelly beans.
They loved it.
And Maddy was even more excited when she pulled out this marshmallow (that I had never noticed!) and said, "I got a Hidden Mickey!"

The show started. It was pretty cool and interesting. But... of course Maddy didn't like it.

Toward the end she was really starting to get nervous about the stunts so I took her down and we waited for the others out front.
A few minutes later they met up with us and we started going toward the front of the park.
Abi was so excited to be able to get cooled down by the Coke mist.
We went to the Little Mermaid show that we had missed earlier.
At this point we really wanted to get up to Fantasmic to try to get good seats so we decided to skip a few more things and not get dinner yet and go straight there.
While we waited I got out the bubble guns I had bought at Cracker Barrel for a fraction of what they cost at Disney. Then I realized I needed a screwdriver to open the battery compartment. Uh-oh.
I dug through my backpack to see if I had anything that would work.
I found a mini sewing kit (from Target's dollar section or the dollar store.. I can't remember which) and was able to use the mini tweezers in it to unscrew them. YAY!!
The girls had a blast with these things. We always remind them to shoot them in the air not at people. But the bubbles fly everywhere. There was a grumpy old couple behind us that were really annoyed... but all the kids around us were having a blast. We tried to keep as many bubble as possible away from the couple but had to just deal with the fact that some were going to float that way.

At this point we also decided to skip looking at the Osborne lights.
We did see them on our last trip and we knew that we didn't want to have to walk all the way back to the back of the park again.
My dad's knees were bothering him, we were all hot and tired, and the girls were pretty much done. So, we decided we would head back to Pop right after the show and have dinner there and relax the rest of the evening.

Soon the show was starting!

We love Fantasmic!

It is such a fun show and such a great way to end the night at the park.
On our way out we stopped at a photo pass photographer and were able to get a photo of us with the hat in the back!

Time to go relax!
