After breakfast, it was time for the park to open so we went straight to Fantasyland. We got to get our first up close look at the castle as we walked through it to get there.
Our first stop was Dumbo of course. This is the ride to get to first if you want to ride it. I'd read that the line gets really long very quickly and they have no fast pass. This is true by the way. It got long behind us and most times we passed it during our days at this park it usually had a long line. The line was pretty short for us this morning and before long we were on!
I got to ride with Abi. Doug and Maddy were behind us and then my parents were behind them!
Abi really liked any ride that she could control...
As soon as we got off of Dumbo we went straight for Peter Pan. There was no line so we just pretty much walked right through the wait area and got on. This is one of my favorite rides so I was super excited to share it with Abi. She loved it too. Abi rode with Doug this time.
Then we went Mickey's Philharmagic. It was great! Again, no line. This show was so much fun. It's a 3D show and we all loved it.
Then we headed over to the Winnie the Pooh ride. I got this picture of Maddy before we got in line..
This is a fast pass ride but we only waited for about 5 minutes to get on. It is such a fun ride. Again, we all really liked it. It is really fun how the honey pot you are riding in sometimes feels like it is bouncing like Tigger or floating through water. Very cool.
After the ride, Abi wanted to play in the play area for a few minutes...
Next we went on the Tea Cups! These are a favorite of course. Here is the family (except me) in front of the cute topiary and ride...
It was basically walk on again. We were breezing through the rides this morning.
Abi loved the tea cups and I think I captured that in this picture!
We rode it again right afterward. This time Abi rode with Grandma and Grandpa!
After the Tea Cups we went back over by the castle to ride the carousel. I was told that Cinderella's horse is one with a golden ribbon on its tail. We wanted to find it!
First we stopped to try to pull the sword out of the stone. No luck.
Oops. This picture is out of order. I got this in the Philharmagic gift shop. It shows where Donald lands at the end of the show!
You can see that at this point in the day the pictures have changed. My camera battery died so I had to use my mom's camera for the rest of the day!
So, here we are on the carousel. We did not find Cinderella's horse so we just grabbed some pretty ones!
Next up was It's a small world. There was no real line. We just walked right through the waiting area and got right on. This picture shows people getting off of the boats. I was really excited for the girls to see this one. I knew they would love it. But, Maddy fell asleep right as were getting on the boat- in my arms! So funny.
Abi was amazed!
After the ride, it was time for lunch. Yes, we rode all of the Fantasyland rides before lunch! It was absolute magic. I didn't expect too big of crowds on a Tuesday morning at this time of the year... but I did expect more than we had! It was so great.
Lunch was at Pinnochio's village Haus. One room overlooks the Small World ride so we made sure to get a table there next to the window.
I didn't get pictures of the food but I do remember that my dad and I both got the pizza and it was undercooked. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food. It wasn't the best but it was such a fun environment!

Now, lunch was over and we were done with Fantasyland so we decided to visit a few of the rides I had planned for the next day. First, we went over to Liberty Square and got in line for The Haunted Mansion.
The line wasn't bad- maybe 5-10 minutes. I was worried Abi would be scared but she did fine. I think this is the best Haunted House.
Next we found the Liberty Tree!
This was a high priority on our list because I grew up watching the movie Johnny Tremain. It was and still is a favorite movie. We watch it every 4th of July so it was fun to see a re creation of the Liberty Tree with the Sons of Liberty lanterns in it!
We decided to head over to Tomorrowland and on our way we were just in time for the show on the Castle Forecourt Stage at the front of the castle. It was such a great show!
It's all about wishes and at one point they wish Malificent away. Abi asked where she went. I said, "I don't know. I guess wherever they wished her to." She said, " I sure hope it wasn't Wisconsin!"
After the show we walked over to Tomorrowland.
First, we rode Buzz Lightyear which was just okay. After Toy Story Mania it just isn't that exciting. Then we spotted Chip and Dale! While we waited in line for them Maddy enjoyed being able to walk around for a few minutes...

Next we rode the Tomorrowland Transit Authority. It's a fun little ride that zips around looking at other Tomorrowland rides and areas. It even gives a little peek into Space Mountain.
Then we went to one of the rides Abi was really looking forward to.. the Tomorrowland Indy Speedway where she would be able to drive a car! Maddy fell asleep in line again so my dad and I didn't ride. We went up on the bridge to get pictures of my Mom and Abi and Doug as they went by...
Abi really enjoyed it. At this point we needed to head toward the front of the park to get to an appointment on Main Street but on our way we ran into the parade crowd. So, we stopped and watched for a few minutes...
