Disney World Day 10: Beaches and Cream and the Kitchen Sink

We all rested for a few hours and then we piled into the car to drive over to the Yacht and Beach club resorts. It was pretty funny. Doug and my dad were in the front seat, my mom sat in the back seat and the girls were in their car seats and I sat on the floor in front of Maddy. It was very cramped.
If I could stay anywhere and didn't stay at the Grand Floridian, the Beach Club would be my second choice. It is so beautiful and I just love the nautical, sea side style.
The lobby had an amazing gingerbread carousel...

I liked this horse because it has the Kitchen Sink on it's back and that was what we were here for!

We walked through to the back of the resort to get to the area where the little diner Beaches and Cream is. We looked around at the resort and their amazing pool! It had a big shipwreck with water slides.

Then we went into another lobby to get to the diner. Here they had this great little village...

Then finally we found Beaches and Cream. I had seen a Samantha Brown special many years ago where she had gone here and got the Kitchen Sink and ever since then my mom and I had planned on doing this if we ever got to Disney World.
When they bring it out to you they flash the lights and announce to the entire diner that someone has ordered it.
It has five different flavors of ice cream but we opted out on the coffee flavored so we had four. It is stuffed with brownies, candy bars, Oreo cookies, bananas, chocolate sauce, sprinkles, an entire can of whipped cream and a bunch of cherries.

Between my parents, Doug and I, Abi, and even little Maddy we made quite the dent in it but couldn't eat the whole thing.

It was a really fun experience. After we left the diner we decided to walk across the bridge over to the Boardwalk.

We stopped to watch this street magicians show and he picked my mom out to come up. She is not the type to enjoy that so I felt bad for her but she was a good sport and it was hilarious.

On our way back over to the Beach Club resort my mom and Abi played in the sand for a few minutes.

This was definitely a good way to end the day. It got us all back in the magic and feeling good again.

Next up: Hollywood Studios day two

I don't even like ice cream and that looks good, although I like coffee flavored stuff. Is that bad?

Holy wow, that's a huge dessert. I went off my diet just looking at it.
