After retrieving our things from the locker it was time for our appointment.
We met back up with my parents at the castle and checked in.
It was really crowded. My parents ended up sitting in the waiting area by the front so they didn't get to watch the transformations... which was unfortunate. But there was just no room for extra people in the boutique. It was packed.
A Fairy godmother in training took the girls back to where they would get their dresses.
I don't know why I don't have a picture of Abi's dress hanging but here is Maddy's Cinderella inspired dress.
We got the girls dressed in their dresses and shoes.
And went out to wait for a chair and fairy godmother-in-training.
I wished that they could have been right next to each other but they had one girl in between them. So we had to go back and forth a little bit. But at least we were able to get them both in!

They let them pick out their hairstyle. But I may have told them beforehand that they could only get the princess bun style....:)
Then they began on the hair. I don't know much about Abi's FG but she seemed nice. I spent most of the time over by Maddy while Doug stayed close to Abi.
Maddy's was so nice. She was really cheerful and friendly and laughed a lot.

I just love little girls' hair pulled out of their face for some reason. It just makes them look younger I think.

And then her FG would tell her "No peeking!"
And Maddy would just start giggling like crazy.

Looking at Maddy's shoes in this picture- there is a kind of funny story.
The shoes were painted blue and then I glued a bunch of shimmering gems to them to make them look like glass slippers. During the entire time we were here the gems started falling off one by one.
By the time we were done there were empty spots all over her shoes and gems all over the floor.
That continued for the rest of the day as she wore them.

The Reveal!
If you read about our last trip when Abi was five, you will remember that sometimes it is harder to tell what she is thinking. She may not look too excited but she was VERY excited!

I love this picture. The photopass photographer caught Abi watching Maddy's reveal. I kind of love that you can see her happiness more for her sister than herself.
Maddy couldn't stop giggling and smiling and looking in the mirror.
She couldn't believe what she looked like!
They were given their cute backpacks with the remaining makeup and the supplies that had been used on them. Now it was time to go show Grandma and Grandpa and go to their photo shoot!

I should have done this while Alyssa was still little enough to care. So cute! I would have loved to have such fun pics and memories. Chloe would probably still like it and Alyssa would be much happier if I could drop her off at Hogwarts. They should do witch/wizard make-overs but no one really does the extras quite like Disney.
I loved Hogwarts! We didn't do it on this trip but if you ever make it to Disney you will have to go there as well for her.
We really wanted to go see the new stuff but it just didn't work out. Hoping to get there again sometime in the next few years.
